Dr. Youngil Park is the General Director of KOCCA UAE. His journey commenced at a prominent telecommunications firm in Korea, where he honed his skills before venturing into the realm of creative content for over two decades. He made significant contributions through his tenure at the Korea Creative Content Agency under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.
Early in his career, Dr. Park gained invaluable experience at DACOM, where he delved into finance and Internet broadcasting services. Noteworthy are his keynote addresses at prestigious gatherings like the Finnish Film Affairs (2011; Finland)
Dr. Youngil Park earned a Master's Degree in Public Administration from Yonsei University in Korea in 1998, further fueling his academic pursuits culminating in a Ph.D. in the same field from the same institution in 2023. Among his notable publications is a research study titled “The Effects of Government Policy Instruments on the Growth of the Korean Content Industry” (Yonsei University; 2023).
